MELAG MELAcare provides automated cleaning, thermal disinfection, drying and instrument care in a compact system designed for efficient reprocessing between treatments.
Using ULTRAflow Technology, MELAcare cleans instruments internally and externally with compressed air-accelerated demineralised water without cleaning or disinfection chemicals. Choose MELAcare Lid Blue to clean, disinfect and lubricate up to six handpieces or turbines in 17 minutes, or Lid Green to clean and disinfect up to six compatible ultrasonic and prophylaxis instruments in 14 minutes.

MELAcare brings cleaning, thermal disinfection, drying and instrument care together in one compact system.
Designed for systematic reprocessing in accordance with EN ISO 15883-1/2, it can process up to six instruments per cycle and up to 144 instruments during a working day.

During the oil-care stage, fully synthetic MELAG Care Oil is precisely delivered to the gear channels of rotating instruments to support reliable operation and extend instrument service life.
Up to three external spray channels can also be adapted using silicone tubes, supporting reliable reprocessing of compatible handpieces and contra-angles with external spray channels.
The MELAcare Lid Green cleans and thermally disinfects up to six compatible instruments in approximately 14 minutes.
It can be used for ultrasonic scaler tips with torque wrenches, ultrasonic handpieces, Sprayvit nozzles and prophylaxis handpieces.
Regular lubrication of instrument chucks can help reduce wear and avoid repairs associated with defective collets.
The integrated ADDcare Station allows chuck lubrication to be carried out directly on MELAcare. The process can also be documented, helping you maintain a consistent instrument-care routine.
The integrated iDos dosing module provides precise lubrication using fully synthetic MELAG Care Oil.
One Care Oil container can maintain approximately 1,000 instruments. The oil is housed in an accessible side compartment for quick replacement.
During reprocessing, compressed air passes through the spray and drive channels to rinse, internally dry and cool the instruments.
An additional integrated cooling system means instruments can be ready for use approximately five minutes after the process finishes, reducing additional handling between reprocessing and reuse.
A large touch display provides access to programme selection, user authentication, batch release and documentation.
ProControl allows batch approval directly on the device. Documentation can be transferred through your network or via USB without requiring an additional documentation system.
With a footprint of just 31 x 38 cm, MELAcare is designed to fit onto a standard 60 cm deep worktop.

MELAcare requires a compressed air connection between 4 and 8 bar in accordance with ISO 7494-2, along with an appropriate feed water supply and additional water treatment.
