The Bambi VT200 is a powerful oil-free air compressor with a 2 HP motor, 50-litre vertical receiver and air delivery of 158 litres per minute at 5 bar.
Designed, built and quality tested in Britain, it includes a soft-start solenoid valve that releases pump pressure when the power is disconnected. This reduces the risk of overload and helps extend compressor life.
The internally coated receiver provides added corrosion resistance while the 10-micron filter regulator supports controlled, cleaner air delivery. Optional configurations include an automatic drain, dryer, aftercooler and a bespoke horizontal VTH receiver.
The Bambi VT200 provides the highest output of these three VT models. Its 2 HP oil-free motor delivers 158 litres of air per minute at 5 bar operating pressure.
The compressor is paired with a 50-litre vertical air receiver. This gives you increased air capacity without requiring the wider floor area of a standard horizontal compressor.
The VT200 includes a soft-start solenoid valve as standard.
Whenever the power supply is disconnected, the valve discharges pressure from the pump. This allows the motor to restart under a lower load, reducing the risk of overload and helping extend the working life of the compressor.
The 50-litre air receiver is coated internally to reduce the risk of corrosion.
Internal protection helps preserve the condition of the receiver and supports the quality of the compressed air supply over time. The compressor is also fitted with a 10-micron filter regulator to remove particulates and control delivery pressure.
An optional automatic drain can be added to support regular moisture removal from the receiver.
The VT200 is also available with an air dryer and aftercooler. These options help manage moisture and temperature where a higher standard of treated compressed air is required.
When supplied with the appropriate dryer, the system can be configured to support HTM 2022 requirements.
The standard VT200 is supplied with a vertical 50-litre receiver.
A bespoke horizontal version can be produced as a Bambi VTH unit where the plant room layout, available height or installation requirements make a horizontal receiver more suitable.

Bambi Air Ltd operates an ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System. The compressor is UKCA and CE marked and has been externally tested by TÜV SÜD.
The VT200 is above the 250 bar-litre threshold under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000. A Written Scheme of Examination may therefore be required for the installed pressure system.
The air receiver is covered by a five-year warranty while the compressor carries a two-year warranty.
