Dr Jashan Jethwa of Village Dental Practice, based in Stevenage, runs a thriving dental clinic offering a wide range of services, from routine check-ups to complex implants, veneers, orthodontics, Botox and dermal fillers.
The practice is known for using the latest materials and techniques to provide high-quality, comfortable dentistry. With growing patient demand, Dr Jethwa recognised the need to expand capacity.
The practice operated with three surgeries, but to accommodate more patients and improve workflow, he wanted to add a fourth surgery.
However, he needed a company that could handle the entire project—from planning to installation—with minimal disruption to his daily operations.
We were chosen for the project due to our turnkey approach, meaning we managed the entire process from start to finish. The challenge was to split Surgery 3 into two functional treatment rooms while ensuring both met compliance, workflow efficiency and aesthetic standards.
This was a complex conversion, requiring structural modifications, partitioning and acoustic insulation to create two fully functional and compliant surgeries. We also installed radiation shielding to meet CQC and safety requirements for X-ray use, ensuring patient and staff protection.
Our experienced team carried out plumbing, electrical works and all necessary building modifications, ensuring the project was completed to the highest standard. Despite the complexity, the newly created surgeries ended up larger than initially anticipated, providing even more usability than planned.
We ensured minimal downtime, allowing the practice to remain open and operational throughout the transformation. Thanks to careful coordination, patient appointments continued without major disruption—keeping revenue steady and maintaining patient satisfaction.
