Overview

The Belmont Touch Phot-X II is an intraoral X-ray system designed for clear imaging, flexible positioning and straightforward touchscreen control.

Its wall-mounted glass touchscreen provides access to patient presets, manual exposure settings, multilingual operation, USB traceability and error reporting. The zero-drift scissor arm helps keep the X-ray head stable during positioning, while selectable 60 kV or 70 kV output supports different imaging requirements.

The system is compatible with digital sensors and film, with multiple arm lengths and mounting options available to suit different surgery layouts.

Available as a stock clearance unit while stocks last. Price on application.

Description

Touchscreen Control

The Belmont Touch Phot-X II features a wall-mounted touchscreen panel with a smooth glass surface and icon-based interface.

The control panel includes sleep mode, multilingual operation, USB connectivity for traceability and instant error reporting.

It can be positioned outside the surgery to support safer operation and easier separation between the operator and the X-ray unit.

Stable Scissor-Arm Positioning

The zero-drift scissor arm is designed to keep the X-ray head securely in position once placed.

This helps support consistent image capture while reducing the need for repeated adjustments during treatment.

Three arm lengths are available to suit different room sizes and installation requirements.

Flexible Mounting Options

The Phot-X II can be configured for wall, ceiling or mobile installation.

A unit with stool configuration is also available, giving practices more flexibility when planning the X-ray position around existing surgery equipment and available space.

Patient-Specific Exposure Settings

Preset exposure options are available for adult, adolescent and child patients.

Manual override allows exposure settings to be adjusted where more precise control is required.

The system is compatible with both digital sensors and film imaging workflows.

Selectable Imaging Output

The Phot-X II provides selectable tube potentials of 60 kV or 70 kV and selectable tube currents of 4 mA or 7 mA.

Exposure times range from 0.01 to 3.2 seconds, allowing the operator to adjust settings across different patient and imaging requirements.

A 0.7 mm focal spot supports clear diagnostic imaging.

X-Ray Tube And Generator

The unit uses a Toshiba D-0711 stationary anode X-ray tube with a tungsten target and 16-degree target angle.

Anode heat content is rated at 7 kJ or 10 kHU, while the tube assembly heat content is 120 kJ or 170 kHU.

The high-voltage generator provides an output of 0.49 kW at 70 kV and 7 mA.

Radiation Filtration And Field Control

The unit includes 1.7 mm aluminium equivalent inherent filtration and 0.3 mm added aluminium filtration.

Minimum filtration is 2.0 mm aluminium equivalent at 70 kV.

Radiation field size is 60 mm diameter with the circular cone or 36 x 47 mm with the rectangular option.

Cone Options

The standard regular cone provides an SSD of 203 mm.

Optional configurations include a 305 mm long cone and a rectangular cone with an SSD of 203 mm.

These options allow the system to be configured around different clinical and positioning requirements.

Built For Regular Clinical Use

The Phot-X II is designed for regular use in busy dental environments.

Its smooth wipeable surfaces support routine cleaning while the recessed focal spot design contributes to a compact and practical X-ray head.

The unit has a duty cycle of 1:50 to manage operating temperature and protect the equipment during repeated use.
