The Bambi VTS200D is a silent oil-free dental air compressor designed to support three dental chairs. It combines a 2 HP motor with a compact 23-litre receiver, integrated dryer and aftercooler.
The compressor delivers 158 litres of free air per minute at 5 bar while producing a noise level of 63 dB(A). This makes it suitable for practices where reduced noise and a compact installation are important.
The VTS200D also falls below the 250 bar-litre PSSR threshold, so most installations do not normally require a formal Written Scheme of Examination.
The Bambi VTS200D provides a reliable compressed air supply for up to three dental chairs.
Its 2 HP oil-free motor delivers 158 litres of free air per minute at 5 bar. The compressor is fitted with a compact 23-litre receiver, helping reduce the space needed for installation.
The VTS200D produces a noise level of 63 dB(A).
Its enclosed design helps reduce operating noise compared with standard open-frame compressors. This makes it suitable for practices where the compressor is installed closer to surgeries, offices or other occupied areas.
The installation location should still provide suitable ventilation, servicing access and clearance.
The VTS200D includes an air dryer and aftercooler as standard.
The aftercooler reduces the temperature of compressed air after it leaves the pump. This helps moisture condense before the air reaches the dryer.
The dryer removes further moisture from the supply, helping protect dental equipment and provide clean, dry compressed air for clinical use.
The oil-free pump prevents lubricating oil from entering the compressed air supply.
This supports cleaner air delivery and helps protect sensitive dental equipment. The compressor operates at pressures up to 8 bar and includes a 10-micron filter regulator for particulate filtration and pressure control.
The VTS200D includes a soft-start solenoid valve.
When the power supply is disconnected, the valve releases pressure from the pump. This reduces the load during restart, helping protect the compressor from overload and supporting a longer service life.
The air receiver is internally coated to reduce the risk of corrosion and help maintain air quality over time.
The VTS200D falls below the 250 bar-litre threshold defined by the UK Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000.
For most installations, this means a formal Written Scheme of Examination is not normally required. This can reduce inspection costs and the administrative work associated with larger compressed air systems.
The requirements of the complete installation should still be assessed individually.
The VTS200D is designed, built and quality tested in Britain.
Bambi Air Ltd is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System. The compressor is UKCA and CE marked and has been externally tested by TÜV SÜD for compliance.
The air receiver is covered by a five-year warranty while the compressor is covered for two years.
