The Bambi VT75D is a compact oil-free dental air compressor designed to support one dental chair. It combines a 0.75 HP pump with a 24-litre vertical receiver, integrated air dryer and aftercooler.
The compressor delivers 58 litres of free air per minute at 5 bar and operates at pressures up to 8 bar. Its dryer and aftercooler help provide clean, dry compressed air for clinical use while the vertical design reduces the floor space required.
The VT75D also falls below the 250 bar-litre PSSR threshold, so most installations do not normally require a formal Written Scheme of Examination.
The Bambi VT75D provides a compact compressed air supply for a single dental chair.
Its 0.75 HP oil-free pump delivers 58 litres of free air per minute at 5 bar. The compressor is fitted with a 24-litre vertical receiver, making it suitable for plant rooms and installation areas where available floor space is limited.
The VT75D includes an air dryer and aftercooler as standard.
The aftercooler reduces the temperature of the compressed air after it leaves the pump. This helps moisture condense before the air reaches the dryer.
The dryer then removes further moisture from the air supply, helping provide the clean, dry compressed air required for dental equipment.
The oil-free pump removes the risk of lubricating oil entering the compressed air supply.
This makes the VT75D suitable for dental environments where air quality and equipment protection are important. The compressor operates at pressures up to 8 bar and is supplied with a 10-micron filter regulator.
The VT75D includes a soft-start solenoid valve.
When the power supply is disconnected, the valve releases pressure held within the pump. This reduces the load during restart, helping protect the compressor from overload and supporting a longer service life.
The air receiver is internally coated to reduce corrosion and help maintain air quality.
The VT75D falls below the 250 bar-litre threshold defined by the UK Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000.
For most installations, this means a formal Written Scheme of Examination is not normally required. This can reduce inspection costs and the administrative work associated with larger compressed air systems.
Each installation should still be assessed according to its complete pressure system and operating conditions.
The standard VT75D is supplied with a 24-litre vertical receiver.
A horizontal receiver can also be provided as a bespoke Bambi VTH unit where the available space or plant room layout makes a horizontal configuration more suitable.
The VT75D is designed, built and quality tested in Britain.
Bambi Air Ltd is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System. The compressor is UKCA and CE marked and has been externally tested by TÜV SÜD for compliance.
The air receiver is covered by a five-year warranty while the compressor is covered for two years.
