The Bambi VT75 is the most compact air compressor in the VT range. Designed and built in Britain, it combines a 0.75 HP oil-free pump with a space-saving 24-litre vertical air receiver.
Its internally coated tank helps resist corrosion while the soft-start solenoid valve protects the pump from overload.
The VT75 falls below the 250 bar-litre threshold under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, so a formal Written Scheme of Examination is not normally required for most installations.
The Bambi VT75 gives you a compact compressed air solution for locations where space is limited. Its vertical 24-litre receiver reduces the floor area required while the 0.75 HP oil-free motor provides reliable air delivery for suitable dental, medical and technical applications.
The compressor delivers 58 litres per minute at 5 bar operating pressure, with a maximum pressure of 8 bar.
A soft-start solenoid valve releases pressure from the pump whenever the power supply is disconnected. This reduces the load placed on the compressor during start-up, helping protect the motor from overload and supporting a longer service life.
An optional automatic drain can also be added to help remove collected moisture from the receiver.
The 24-litre air receiver is internally coated to reduce the risk of corrosion. This helps maintain the condition of the tank and supports cleaner air quality throughout the working life of the compressor.
The air receiver is covered by a five-year warranty while the compressor is covered for two years.
The VT75 is supplied with a 10-micron filter regulator to help control air pressure and remove particulates from the compressed air supply.
A model with a dryer and aftercooler is available for applications requiring improved air quality. When specified with the optional dryer, the compressor is suitable for an HTM 2022-compliant installation.
A horizontal tank version can also be supplied as a bespoke Bambi VTH unit.
The VT75 falls below the 250 bar-litre threshold defined by the UK Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000.
For most installations, this means a formal Written Scheme of Examination is not normally required. This can help reduce ongoing inspection costs and the administrative work associated with larger pressure systems.
The requirements of each installation should still be assessed individually.
