The Bambi VT200D is an oil-free dental air compressor designed to support three dental chairs. It combines a 2 HP motor with a 50-litre vertical receiver, integrated dryer and aftercooler.
The compressor delivers 158 litres of free air per minute at 5 bar and operates at pressures up to 8 bar. Its dryer and aftercooler help provide clean, dry compressed air for dental equipment while the vertical receiver keeps the footprint compact.
The VT200D can also be supplied without the dryer and aftercooler as the VT200 or with a bespoke horizontal receiver as a VTH unit.
The Bambi VT200D provides a reliable compressed air supply for up to three dental chairs.
Its 2 HP oil-free motor delivers 158 litres of free air per minute at 5 bar. The compressor is paired with a 50-litre vertical receiver, providing strong air delivery while keeping the installation footprint relatively compact.
The VT200D includes an air dryer and aftercooler as standard.
The aftercooler reduces the temperature of the compressed air after it leaves the pump. This helps moisture condense before the air reaches the dryer.
The dryer removes further moisture from the air supply, helping protect dental equipment and provide clean, dry compressed air for clinical use.
The oil-free pump prevents lubricating oil from entering the compressed air supply.
This supports cleaner air delivery and helps protect sensitive dental equipment. The compressor operates at pressures up to 8 bar and includes a 10-micron filter regulator for pressure control and particulate filtration.
The VT200D is fitted with a soft-start solenoid valve.
When the power supply is disconnected, the valve releases pressure from the pump. This reduces the load during restart, helping protect the compressor from overload and supporting a longer service life.
The 50-litre receiver is internally coated to reduce the risk of corrosion and help maintain air quality over time.
The VT200D sits above the 250 bar-litre threshold defined by the UK Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000.
A formal Written Scheme of Examination may therefore be required for the installed pressure system. The exact requirements should be confirmed based on the complete installation and operating conditions.
The standard VT200D is supplied with a 50-litre vertical receiver.
A horizontal receiver can be provided as a bespoke Bambi VTH unit where available height, access or plant room layout makes a horizontal configuration more suitable.
The compressor is also available without the dryer and aftercooler as the Bambi VT200.
The VT200D is designed, built and quality tested in Britain.
Bambi Air Ltd is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System. The compressor is UKCA and CE marked and has been externally tested by TÜV SÜD for compliance.
The air receiver is covered by a five-year warranty while the compressor is covered for two years.
