Overview

The Ancar SD-300 Whip Arm dental unit is designed to give you precise control and efficient instrument access during treatment.

Its whip arm delivery system keeps instruments positioned above the patient, allowing direct, controlled handling with minimal movement. Combined with Touch Expert technology, the SD-300 provides intuitive control over chair functions and instrument settings, helping streamline your workflow.

With a compact footprint, ergonomic design and durable aluminium construction, the unit is suited to both NHS and private practices that need reliable, high-performance equipment for daily use.

Description

Whip Arm Delivery for Direct Access

The SD-300 features a whip arm delivery system designed for clinicians who prefer overhead instrument positioning.

With pneumatic braking and mechanical compensation, the system keeps instruments stable and balanced during use. This allows precise handling while reducing strain and improving control throughout procedures.

Touch Expert Control System

The Touch Expert display provides full control over chair movement and instrument settings through a clear digital interface.

You can configure presets for endodontics, scaling and ultrasonic treatments, while monitoring turbine speed and adjusting micromotor torque, rotation direction and light intensity. Custom user profiles allow multiple clinicians to store their preferred settings for faster setup.

Ergonomic and Flexible Operation

The electric chair includes Trendelenburg positioning, five programmable positions and a low minimum height of 365 mm for easy patient access.

The ergonomic layout supports natural working posture, while the rotating water group improves assistant access during four-handed dentistry. The headrest is designed to support upper arch procedures, helping improve positioning during treatment.

Configurable Instrument Setup

The SD-300 supports up to eight instruments, with five positions on the main tray and three on the assistant’s side.

This flexible configuration allows you to tailor the setup to your clinical requirements, ensuring all essential instruments are positioned within easy reach.

Hygiene and Maintenance

The unit is designed for easy cleaning and long-term reliability.

Removable and autoclavable components support infection control, while the anti-corrosive aluminium frame ensures durability. Easy-clean suction filters simplify maintenance, and optional WEK or H1 systems provide advanced waterline disinfection.
