Chelmer Village Dental Surgery Conversion

Background:

Chelmer Village Dental is a family-run practice in Chelmer village near the centre of Chelmsford in Essex. Established in 1993, they have a proud history and experience in providing the highest-quality treatments – both privately and on the NHS.

We have previously refurbished two other surgeries for the practice manager / owner, Tom Ballentyne and this project was to convert an office into a surgery for their hygienist.

Solution:

We transformed a normal office space into a modern and fully functional hygienist surgery that meets the needs of the patients and staff. Allowing the hygienist to perform their work with precision and comfort.

The project was successfully completed within the specified timeframe and budget.

Scope of Work:

Cabinetry: Custom cabinetry was installed to provide ample storage space.

Electrics: The electrical system was upgraded to support the additional power requirements of the dental chair.

Plumbing: A new plumbing system was installed to support the water and waste management needs of the surgery.

Flooring: New flooring was installed to provide a clean, hygienic and easy-to-clean surface.

Equipment:

Belmont Clair 050 chair: This high-quality dental chair was installed to provide comfortable and ergonomic seating for patients.

Wall-mounted DCI delivery unit: A dental delivery unit was mounted on the wall for easy access and functionality.

Polaris ceiling-mounted operating light: A ceiling-mounted light was installed to provide optimal lighting for the dentist during procedures.

Durr suction manifold: A suction manifold was installed under the worktop with a pull-out swivelling drawer.
