Belmarsh is a high-security category A prison in south-east London, known for holding individuals considered the most threatening to the public should they escape. However, it also operates as a local prison.
We were approached to refurbish and update their surgery and decontamination room.
Our team provided a comprehensive refurbishment service, including strip-out, decorating, lighting, electrics, plumbing, flooring and new equipment.
Strip-out: We removed the old equipment, fixtures and fittings, providing a blank canvas for the new design.

Ancar Dental Chair: We installed a new Ancar dental chair, providing the latest technology in patient comfort and safety.

Electrical Works: We upgraded the electrical system to accommodate the new equipment's power requirements.

Air Compressor: We installed a new air compressor, providing a reliable and efficient supply of compressed air.
X-Ray: We installed a new Belmont Belray 097 X-Ray, providing the latest technology in dental imaging for accurate diagnoses.
Washer Disinfector: We installed a new washer disinfector, providing a reliable and efficient cleaning process for dental instruments.
Suction Pump: We relocated the existing suction pump, improving the functionality of the space and maximising the available floor space.
The surgery and decontamination room refurbishment project was completed within the specified timeframe and budget. The updated design and installation of new equipment have improved the functionality and efficiency of the space.
The new design also provides a clean and sterile environment for dental procedures, improving the health and safety of both patients and staff.
