Wash Common Dental Practice in Newbury, Berkshire has built a strong reputation as a caring, reliable and family-focused practice.
Offering family, cosmetic and implant dentistry, the team wanted to modernise key clinical areas while continuing to prioritise patient comfort and high standards of care.
The project involved the refurbishment of three surgeries, two hygienist rooms and the decontamination room, with updated layouts, new cabinetry, flooring and dental equipment throughout.
The goal was to improve operational efficiency, refresh ageing interiors and create a more consistent clinical environment across the practice.
We completed a full strip-out of the existing cabinetry, flooring and dental chair packages across all treatment and hygienist rooms before carrying out infrastructure upgrades to support the new layouts.
Electrical works included adapting existing circuits for new cabinetry sockets and dental equipment supplies, while plumbing services were modified to suit new sinks and chair positions.
Chair floor box services were relocated where required to improve ergonomics and workflow.
Existing walls were repaired, prepared and repainted, and new Gerflor clinical flooring was installed throughout with hot-weld joints and full cap-and-cove detailing to support infection control standards.
To improve safety and usability, the intra-oral X-ray timer and isolator controls were repositioned outside each surgery door. The completed refurbishment provides a more streamlined, modern and reliable clinical setup designed around the needs of both staff and patients.

Improved layouts and upgraded services support smoother workflows, while the combination of Belmont treatment centres, integrated lighting and refreshed finishes enhances both staff usability and patient comfort.
