Biography

I’ve been with Eclipse Dental for over 20 years, and my role as Technical Director is all about making sure every installation runs smoothly from start to finish. Installing and commissioning dental equipment is a critical part of any project. It has to be done right, on time and ready for the dentist to use exactly as planned.

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make that happen, from coordinating services to testing and fine-tuning every detail before handover. It’s long hours sometimes, but seeing a dentist walk into their finished surgery makes it worth it.

What I enjoy most about working at Eclipse is the variety. No two days or projects are ever the same. And outside of work, I like to keep things simple: reading, relaxing and spending time with friends and family.

Biography

I’ve worked at Eclipse Dental for over 16 years, starting out as an installation and repair engineer before moving into the office as a service coordinator and eventually becoming Service Manager. It’s been a rewarding journey watching both the company and the industry evolve, especially as equipment has become more electronic and interconnected over the years.

My role now is all about making sure our clients get the right support and fast solutions when they need them. Being a small, local company means we can take the time to understand each client and provide a more personal level of care.

Outside of work, I love getting out on my bike and cycling with the family. It’s a great way to recharge after a busy week.

I’m a Field Service Engineer at Eclipse Dental, responsible for keeping dental equipment running smoothly and ensuring practices experience as little downtime as possible. Every day brings something different, from routine servicing to urgent repairs, and I take pride in helping clients get back up and running quickly with minimal disruption.

What I enjoy most about working at Eclipse is the variety. We support such a wide range of equipment, which keeps the job interesting and constantly evolving.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my children or heading out on my motorbike to explore the country lanes. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a busy week.

What does a dental engineer do?

We inspect, repair and service dental equipment to keep your practice operational, from chairs to compressors and X-ray units.

Do you offer same-day call-outs in Kent?

Yes, where possible. We prioritise urgent cases and aim to minimise downtime.
